General Chemistry

General chemistry serves as the foundation for all living systems. It is critical to have a deep understanding of such principles when treating patients and, therefore, a central component of your MCAT preparation. The MCAT will devote approximately 30% of the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems (C/P) and 5% of the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems (B/B) sections to testing your knowledge of general chemistry.
